Bavaria's new highly modifiable flat twin cafe racer

BMW’s new Motorrad R nineT motorcycle is essentially to Bavaria what the Speedster is to Harley-Davidson: a highly modifiable entry level bike aimed to open up the company to a new strata of buyer. As they describe, the R nineT personifies BMW’s “pure riding” philosophy down to the last detail, with state-of-the-art BMW motorcycle technology combined with classic, high-quality details. Intentionally only available in pure Black, the single livery allows for an exceptional amount of individualisation via a wide range of available accessories. Powered by a 1,170 cc air/oil-cooled flat twin engine, the R nineT features an 18 liter brushed aluminum tank, wire-spoke wheels, radial 4-piston mono-block brake calipers, floating 320 millimeter brake discs, ABS, and a natural anodized finish across its hand-forged aluminum parts. With 110 horsepower (and 88 lb-ft of torque), the cafe racer style bike even includes a variable rear section that allows you to alter the R nineT so you can ride alone or with a passenger.
